The Third Antichrist by Mario Reading

News

Mario Reading’s Antichrist Trilogy is now complete following the publication, by Corvus, of The Third Antichrist [December 2011]. The first part of the trilogy, The Nostradamus Prophecies, was published by Atlantic in 2009, and the second part, The Mayan Codex, by Corvus (Atlantic’s then new imprint) in 2010.

Mario Reading’s beautifully illustrated and slip-cased Nostradamus: The Top 100 Prophecies, was published by Watkins on 14 October 2010 (it is also available in 9 other languages). A new paperback edition of Reading’s perennially best selling Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies For The Future was released by Watkins in July 2011, and his newest non-fiction book, Nostradamus & The Third Antichrist: Napoleon, Hitler, And The One Still To Come, was published on 3 March 2011.

What's it about?

An ancient secret... A deadly conspiracy... A potential international bestseller. With translation rights sold in 27 countries, this high-octane commercial thriller tells of a hunt for the lost prophecies of Nostradamus and the two men who will do anything to discover their secrets. It is an entirely compulsive page-turner for readers of Raymond Khoum's "The Last Templar". Nostradamus wrote a thousand prophecies. Only 942 have survived. What happened to the missing quatrains? And what secrets did they contain to make it necessary for them to remain hidden? And why did Nostradamus leave his daughter a sealed container in his will? This mystery drives two men with very different desires. Adam Sabir is a writer desperate to revive his flagging career; Achor Bale is a member of an ancient secret society that has dedicated itself to the protection and support of the 'Three Antichrists' foretold in Nostradamus's verses - Napoleon, Adolf Hitler, and the 'one still to come'...The pair embark on a terrifying chase through the ancient Romany encampments of France in a quest to locate the missing verses.

The accuracy of Nostradamus’s predictions has amazed us for generations – now, leading Nostradamus scholar Mario Reading reveals full details, according to this world-famous clairvoyant, of the future rise to power of the Third Antichrist

On 24 March 2034 a total eclipse of the sun is scheduled to occur – and Nostradamus forecasts that this dark day will presage the coming of the Third Antichrist. Conceived at the eclipse, he will be born nine months later, in 2035, and although his coming will be welcomed by many with vested interests, it will ultimately portend disaster. In this compelling and important contribution to Nostradamus, Mario Reading shows how the French seer correctly predicted the imperialist ambitions of the first two Antichrists, Napoleon and Hitler, with amazing accuracy of detail… and then went on to warn us of a third, in cryptic quatrains referring to his conception, his birth, his survival of a global war (in 2070), and his eventual move from the Middle East to Asia to widen his power base. ‘Human blood reddens the water that covers the earth in hail,’ concludes one of the prophet’s most brilliant quatrains. Reading gives us a masterly and learned analysis of the meaning of this verse and others, concluding that in the final battle against tyranny there is hope for mankind after all. Showing his customary grasp of historical detail and of illuminating parallels in the Bible and elsewhere, the world’s most convincing explicator of Nostradamus traces a spell-binding adventure of detection, with symbols and mysteries galo

The Secret

The Secret
The Secret is a best-selling 2006 self-help book written by Rhonda Byrne, based on the earlier film of the same name. It is based on the law of attraction and claims that positive thinking can create life-changing results such as increased wealth, health, and happiness.
The book has sold over 21 million copies and been translated into 44 languages, but has nevertheless attracted a great deal of controversy, as well as being parodied in several TV programs.

The Map

The Map
1613: Shimon Mendiluze, a Spanish Jewish alchemist fleeing the Inquisition, is found guilty of witchcraft and burned at the stake in London. But in his last few moments of life, a young pregnant woman holds up a pendant – his secret and his treasure remain safe.
1953: Classicist August Winthrop, an American who fought in the Spanish Civil war, is asked by his dying best friend (and fellow International bridgier) to return an ancient chronicle to a Basque family in Franco’s Spain, intrigued he begins investigating the book to find it is far more than just a travel diary and is linked to the mysterious murder of a Basque freedom fighter in 1945.
Soon he is drawn into a web of complicated politics, loyalties and betrayals in Franco’s Spain, and embarks on a quest for the alchemist’s hidden treasure. Following the clues in the Chronicle, which include archaic cabbalistic symbols and the hidden, magical meanings of certain plants, August is led on a journey through war-torn Europe and a series of ancient mazes. Pursued by rogue intelligence agents who want the treasure for themselves, and helped by a beautiful but troubled Basque woman, can August unlock the secrets of the Chronicle and the truth behind a much more recent atrocity before it’s too late?
